Eight years after its initial launch, welcome to the brand new version of this blog! The content of the old version is now just an archived piece of binary code, as I decided to restart from scratch.
This is why I have chosen to illustrate this first post with a sand mandala that was patiently created in Strasbourg by a group of monks from the Ladakh region in India. In accordance with usual practice, the sand was brushed together into a pile a few days later and spilled into the Ill river waters that run through the city.
Photography allowed me to capture this ephemeral moment, like many others that I am sharing with you on this site.

Huit ans après son premier lancement, bienvenue sur la toute nouvelle version de ce blog ! Le contenu de l’ancienne version n’est plus qu’une archive de code binaire, puisque j’ai décidé de repartir d’une page blanche.
C’est pourquoi j’ai choisi d’illustrer ce premier article par un mandala qui fût patiemment créé à Strasbourg par un groupe de moines venus de la région du Ladakh en Inde. Conformément à l’usage, ce mandala fût réduit en un tas de sable quelques jours après la prise de cette photo, puis déversé dans les eaux de l’Ill qui traversent la ville.
La photographie m’a permis de capter cet instant éphémère, comme le sont tant d’autres instantanés que je partage avec vous sur ce site.
